# Dr. Aaron Isaksen

Vice President, AI Research \& Engineering, Palo Alto Networks  
Aaron Isaksen is a VP of AI/Engineering at Palo Alto Networks, Cortex, leading the Foundational AI Research group which advances the state of the art in AI in Cybersecurity through research and development. Aaron has a PhD in CS from NYU, where he focused on researching AI techniques for automated interactive software design, and additional degrees from MIT and UC Berkeley. He has over 25 years of software engineering experience, and a long career in leveraging AI and ML, with patents, papers and products developed for cybersecurity, computer vision, embedded systems, Generative AI, and natural language processing.
